Iron Man Cake & Mini Candy Buffet

This was a very fun cake to do, I always enjoy designing celebration cakes, especially for kids.  The amount of detail and the colors of a cake makes it what it is.. unique.  So here is a birthday cake requested from a boy who turned 4, he goes by the name "C Boy" (as you can see along side the cake).  This cake is strawberry cake with vanilla buttercream filling and covered in fondant.  Accompanied by our cuppycakes, classic yellow with buttercream swirls!  And I can't forget our mini candy buffet! Wonderful Sienna all the way from Alaska, recently got married here in beautiful Kailua Kona, Hawaii. She requested a simple 2 tier cake frosted with vanilla buttercream.  The cake was our famous lilikoi cake with lilikoi filling, topped with a beautiful assortment of Hawaii's tropical flowers.

Popular cake order - Hello Kitty cake

Here at Sweets Galore I get a lot of orders for Hello Kitty themed cakes and for today's cake order.  In Hawaii many locals, girls in general adore our Hello Kitty designed cakes.  Here is todays order with a different set of flowers in the ear!  Meow...

Plumeria CuppyCakes & Mini Cake

One of my most recent orders was a soon to be wed couple who were from Alaska and were going to get married here in Hawaii.  They unfortunately booked there cake order on the wrong island and contacted me 2 days before there wedding.  So I did a last minute order and this is the result of it.  The mini cake is an 8" round gluten free chocolate cake, filled with vanilla and covered in fondant.  The cuppycakes were guava flavored with vanilla buttercream frosting and topped with fresh plumerias.

Tropical Hawaiian Cake

Here is a post of one of my cakes I promised to share with you all.  I been hoping to have time on my hands to post up more pics of wedding cakes and other cakes I been making.  But lately I haven't had time to take pics or post blogs due to my busy schedule.  

Anyways I hope you enjoy this cake which I call the "Tropical Hawaiian Cake". The design of the cascading flowers seems to be very popular here in Hawaii and the colors just pop out to me saying "tropical".  I love the colors and the boldness of the flowers how they stand out.  

Baby Mickey Mouse Cake

This cake was requested for a birthday boy who was turning 1.  The parents requested to have a smash cake for their child to devour on his own.  So I made a 4" round mini cake as seen in the picture. I have been noticing the popularity of having a "smash cake" for a child's first birthday party.  I think the idea of it is rather intriguing and what child doesn't like to just get in his cake and eat it with his hands?
