What's Up?
I have been busy with orders for the past couple of months and enjoy what I do. Hearing the different stories and reasons for their celebration is what makes my work worth doing. I will be busy with baking, baking, decorating, decorating and did I mention baking and decorating?... For the complete month of October!
Other than that I been brainstorming some new beneficial ideas for Sweets Galore. Hmmmmm........

Happy Belated Bday Melia
Since I have been updating a lot of stuff I came across a recent cake I made for a birthday girl just last week... This cake is a strawberry delight flavor with strawberry cream cheese. I thought I would give a little late shout out to lil Melia and share this photo on my blog. I love this cake and had a fun time decorating it since I am some what of a Hello Kitty fan. Now I better get back to all the exciting work I m doing during this late evening.

FYI Are Flowers Safe On A Cake?
I thought this would be some thing simple yet important to know when ordering a cake and fresh flowers to go with it.
Not all flowers are safe to place on a cake. Speak with your florist about safety concerns. Flowers that have been sprayed with pesticides should not be placed on your cake. Some flowers are toxic for people and their juices may leach into your cake and possibly make people sick. Your florist will know which flowers are toxic for people and should not be placed on a cake.
